‘As a follow-up to a previous purchase, we commissioned Astrid to create a work of art in memory of our mother/mother-in-law. In preparation, Astrid asked all about her and her family so that she could gain an understanding of what sort of woman she was. One of our wishes was to incorporate an already present artwork into the painting. Our mother/mother-in-law had always liked it and found it to be very good, as do we. Our daughter was also happy to find just the right work of art for her, also created by Astrid.’
