Sculptures in color
The perceptible movement in my sculptures is very much my signature. I like to explore and play with human relationships, reducing realistic human forms to their essence and the basic shapes. This results in powerful compositions.
I am often told that people find my sculptures so uplifting because they are full of character and dynamism, and because they are so perfectly expressive. And what brings my sculptures to life is the loving attention paid to minute details: a small gesture, the edge of a stocking, or the frills on a blouse, perhaps.
